The kids love learning about Jesus in Children's Church which runs alongside the service.
Classes are currently divided into two age groups. Children ages 2-6 learn and play in the Lil Cowkids class and children ages 7+ in the Big Cowkids class.
We use the Gospel Project curriculum, a Christ-centered, chronological Bible study for kids. We love The Gospel Project as every story points to Jesus. Every week the kids learn about Jesus, dive deep into the gospel, build on the previous lesson, and learn how each Bible story ties into the bigger gospel picture. The kids learn scripture, how to navigate their Bibles, how to apply the gospel to their lives and how to live like Christ. The big kids even get introduced to Biblical Typology.
Our classes utilize both traditional and kinesthetic learning practices to better meet the needs of all. Each week the kids will have a lesson and a hands on activity.
The kids are given a light snack so that they leave class with full hearts and full bellies.
If the children do not have a Bible they will be gifted with parents' permission a new children's Adventure Bible.
Children of any age are always welcome in the service. However, our nursery room is always open for nursing mothers or sleepy and fussy babies. The nursery is equipped with changing table, crib, rocking chairs and toys. The nursery room is located in the children's building.
